Bleed is a printing term that means your image extends past the actual size of what you're printing.
- Bleed must extend past the cut-line and will be trimmed from the product during the final cutting phase.
- When the image is required to extend all the way to the edge, a 0.0625" (1/16") bleed should be added per edge.
- The total bleed should be 0.125” (1/8"). Keep all text an additional 0.0625" inside the cut-line.
- Adding bleed preserves the finished look and the quality of the final product.
